Start with the store’s current condition
We review files, logs and the database for infection, suspicious code and signs of unauthorised access. Configuration checks identify modules or scripts needing an update, disabling or further investigation. You receive the findings and recommendations in a report.
Administration access controls
Scope can include changing the default administration path, adding another password and logging failed sign-in attempts. We review configuration files and folder permissions. Controls are selected for your OpenCart version and hosting capabilities.
Forms and framing protection
Registration and return forms can be protected against bots using reCAPTCHA or challenge questions. We configure clickjacking protection, including headers restricting the store’s use inside external frames. Required integrations are considered when applying these changes.
Checkout, payments and data
We examine the journey from adding a product to completing payment. Checks look for scripts that might monitor customers or capture information, malicious database injections, and problems with HTTPS or SSL configuration.
Store email and further recommendations
Mail sending is configured where hosting capabilities allow. The report identifies further work and potentially unsafe components. The published package turnaround is 2–4 working days; availability and the specific scope are confirmed before work begins.
Package compatibility
The standard offer is not intended for stores using the Journal theme. Individual features depend on hosting and OpenCart version, so compatibility is reviewed first. Security controls reduce exposure but cannot guarantee that a store will never be attacked.
